A First in S&M. a conclusion in concert for this first contest of piano with Vulaines/the Seine under the Presidency of the concert performer Emile Naoumoff organized by the Arts center & Sporting of Vulaines with in the chair Mrs. Soubrier on the initiative of Patrick Chadaillat. 92 pianists very exactly of all ages and all categories exposed their know-how in front of a jury chaired by the pianist Emile Naoumoff. A prestigious jury was brought together to judge quality of the Prizes winner of the 3rd Contest of Piano of Vulaines/the Seine. This Contest knows a repercussion in all France and our village is proud to take part thus in a musical appointment of such a quality. The 5th Contest of piano with Vulaines/the Seine with the CCSV. Patrick Chadaillat decides to create a test “concerto”. The artists played a concerto for piano and orchestra with accompaniment of a second piano. The public could appreciate the concertos of E. Grieg, Beethoven and F. The contest of piano of Vulaines which, for its 6th edition, was particularly dedicated to Chopin is on the way to become a true institution. Indeed, with the passing of years, its notoriety always follows a rate/rhythm growing, so much so that candidates of all nationalities take part in it. Composition of the jury: Gerard Frémy (Saturday) (President) France Clidat, Edouard Exerjean, Stephan Blet and Gisele Magnan. A string quintet accompanied the concerto into Mim by F Chopin. The name of Vulaines - the on-Seine is now well associated the contest of piano which it shelters. Indeed this village in the shade of Fontainebleau is the seat, for the sixth year, of a meeting of a very interesting level, opened with all the candidates of France and abroad. The jury chaired by France Clidat (Sunday) had to assess the real musical qualities of young the pianist. The concert of fence proceeded in an environment relaxed under the direction of Patrick Chadaillat, who knew to bring the key of humor and heat necessary to put in confidence the young prizes winner.
