Stephan Blet was born in Paris 9 the Mars 1969.
Disciple of the large American pianist Byron Janis who discovers in him invites an exceptional talent and it in New York in the Eighties, it begins since 1986 a brilliant career from concert performer in the whole world.
Its recitals with the Theater of the Fields-Élysées or the Gaveau Room are worth an immense success near the public to him which reserves to him long “standing ovations” as at the time of its memorable “Liszt marathon” in February 1987 when it is greyish-brown more than thirty minutes!
Blet recorded for Philips, Forlane and Universal several compact devoted to Liszt and Chopin, as well as recitals “Live” (including works of Scarlatti, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Satie, Schumann and Blet).
In 1992, Blet decides to curb its activities of pianist-concert performer to devote itself fully to its second passion: the composition. Its works, published in the Editions Combre, Eschig, Lafitan, Leduc and Jonaphil know from the start a sharp success and are frequently imposed in the great international contests.

In 1993, Blet creates the event in the musical world by completely transcribing for piano monumental “Faust Symphonie” of Liszt (for the Combre Editions). The same year, one decrees the “Gold Double-sharp to him”, rewarding his first “Sonata for piano, opus 6”. Since then, more than forty partitions were born, among which a cycle of “12 Turkish Rhapsodies”,

Stephan Blet is a president of the jury of several international contests of piano, member of the jury and in charge of mission of the National Academy of the Lyric Disc.

In 1996, it is decorated by the Turkish government for its single work in favor of the popular music this country. In 1999, it receives the money medal of prestigious Société of Encouragement to Progress, thus following the trace of personalities such as Louis Lumière, Albert Schweitzer, Marcel Pagnol, Paul-Emile Victor, Jules Romains, the commander Cousteau or Abel Gance.

Stephan Blet devotes from now on most of her time to teaching and gives many Master-Classes in the whole world. He is also the author of a test on “Art To interpret the Mazurkas of Chopin” as of a “Piano tutor” which bears its name.
